Portraits of singer Bill Miller and dancer Thirza Defoe are woven with interchanged horizontal hand cut strips in this photographic weave. The exchange softens Miller’s feature while maturing the face of Defoe. The result gives the illusion of kinship even though both are from different Nations.
Comprised of two prints, a self portrait is woven under a hand-tinted enlarged image of a beaded blanket border. The berries on the border are transformed into smallpox cells depicting the Amherst proposal to eradicate indigenous people.

Lomography panoramics
Naked Sheboygan is an ongoing digital series of discarded articles of clothing photographed within the city of Sheboygan. The items were not moved or positioned and are shown as they were found. The images were captured with multiple cameras: a Panasonic Lumix in toy effect mode, a Sony DSC-HX80, a Canon 5DMIV DSLR, and an iPhone. This project began in 2012.
